| HEA offers an extensive training program for their employees, consisting of classroom and on the job training. We have a "promote from within" policy and are committed to providing you with continuous education. New Hire Orientation All new employees go through a one week formal orientation process that focuses on basic company information and job specific subjects. Employees begin to learn topics such as: • Company growth & structure • Human resources / marketing & finance • Drawing & specs • Safety at the workplace HEA University HEA University is a 52 week program of classroom training designed for all engineers. Guest speakers train on topics such as: • Commissioning 101 • Electrical drawings • LEED® Continuing Education HEA encourages all of their employees to take part in continuing education courses, conferences, and online learning. Some classes that our employees have taken are: • Building codes • Testing, adjusting & balancing • Conflict resolution & professionalism Technical & Strategic Retreats HEA employees that are Project Engineers and above take part in yearly retreats that are designed to promote team building, education and the future growth of the company. |
