The Heavy Engineering Building at Stony Brook University houses a number of teaching programs for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The facility also serves major research programs financed by government and private industry sources. HEA provided commissioning services for a 60,000 sf addition and 112,000 sf renovation.
HEA's scope of services included a detailed analysis of the building operation, functional testing of the mechanical and electrical systems as well as services to test, adjust and balance the airflow and water distribution systems within the building.
